Bob Masters

A passionate artist and visionary, Bob's love of the outdoors began while he was a boy on the shores of the Chester River. It led him across the United States and Europe to understand the relationship between landscape design and the natural world. His travels and mentors always pointed him to the relationship between planet and people, leading him to develop his motto: "Planet People Beauty."

For decades Bob managed men, machines and materials to successfully execute swimming pool installations and landscape development for large residential estates. He paid keen attention to the details of small business management. After graduating with a business degree from John Brown University, and studying design at University of Maryland, Bob recognized that there was more to learn outside the classroom. He formed mentor relationships with titans of the landscape industry to expand his knowledge of vital landscape architectural elements on a finer level.

Training from the following mentors fueled Bob's pursuit of the relationship between planet and people: Gary Kinman, Anthony Arthur-Wills, Robin Templar-Williams, David Tisherman, John Brooks, and Gay Crowther. Appreciative of the mentorship of authorities in his field, Bob also passes on his knowledge and problem solving mindset by mentoring young entrepreneurs and providing internships for students.

Over the past 30 years, a dynamic business has evolved out of Bob's understanding of the relationship between planet, people and beauty; "The Art of Home & Garden."TM Being teachable has resulted in his wide recognition as a problem solver in the landscape profession. Bob Masters is focused on meeting the needs, wishes and desires of each client, building for them a one of a kind landscape.
